Two parents, four kids, one printer that never sleeps.
Make-a-Roni is Devon and Damien — a husband-and-wife team in Pennsylvania. We design, print, and ship every piece ourselves, usually between school drop-offs.
The two of us.
Devon
Mom to four littles. Devon dreams up the ideas — usually after watching our kids try to rig something with tape, string, and a Yoto card. Every product starts as a sketch on the back of a grocery list.
Damien
Engineer, partner, print-farm whisperer. Damien takes Devon's sketches and models them in CAD, then tunes each print until it passes peanut-butter-covered kid QA.
From "what if…" to your doorstep.
Sketch
Usually mid-breakfast. Sometimes on a napkin. We talk it through with the kids first.
CAD
Damien models it, tweaks the fit, and picks the right wall thickness so it survives actual play.
Print & test
3D-printed in biodegradable PLA. Then the four-kid focus group gets after it.
Ship
Inspected, packed, and mailed from our garage. Usually a Tuesday.
Made from biodegradable plant-based plastic.
Every Make-a-Roni piece is 3D-printed in PLA — a biodegradable plastic made from cornstarch and sugarcane. It's stronger than it sounds and better for the planet than it has to be.
- Durable: dialed-in wall thickness. These are toys, not shelf art.
- Precise: carefully placed D-rings, magnets, and suction cups embedded during print.
- Guaranteed: 30 days against defects — if something's off, we make it right.
